Personality: Sere is a very fiery girl. She is defiant and hates to be told no. As an only child, she is not used to sharing. Her parents lax guidance makes it hard for her to have to ask for anything especially help. Though, at her core, is a little girl who just needs to be loved, though she would rather die than admit it. Independant and strong, she some times can be bull headed and difficult.

History: Serephine Antoinette Darnay was born in a small village in France on the boarder of Spain. The family she was born to was very wealthy and affluent in the upper crust vampiric society. Her father was the equivalent to a Duke and her mother the socialite daughter of another very high ranking family. It was clear her father was the dominant partner and her mother simply a shadow by his side with no say of her own. When she was born, her mother was not interested in raising a child. A nanny was hired along with tutors for the young girl. Sere was raised in the lap of luxury and never wanted for anything as a child.
Even as a young girl, her beauty was apparent. And Serephine’s father decided to exploit that. At first, Sere didn’t know what was happening; it was a game. She was basically sold to other families of their stature to act as a play mate for their children or as an adornment for their sons’ arms. It was innocent enough.
When she was twelve, she came into her full vampiric talents and beauty. There was more interest in Serephine then but not as a companion but a concubine. Her father saw the further potential at this point. He waited for the highest bid and sold her to another Duke for his son’s birthday. Sere was packed off and sent to spend the weekend there. There was a ball and festivities to celebrate the boy’s coming of age. From the moment Serephine got there, the boy made it apparent that he was not interested in girls and especially not her.
She was soon approached by his cousin Jean. He was eighteen, a born vampire like her. No one had ever treated her like anything beside a play thing. This boy was soft spoken and seemed to take a real interest in her. They spent the night together and when it was time for her to retire with the birthday boy, Jean ran upstairs and hid in the closet off the room.
When Serephine and her client were locked in there, the boys traded places. Jean was gentle and told her he loved her. He had seen her at other parties and he wanted her. He told her that they should run away together… Then the Duke came in. He punched his nephew in the face and raped Serephine.
After that, she was a glorified prostitute. She was no longer a childhood companion. She was shipped from bed to bed and even brothels to cavort with clients. She turned off all emotion and became a demanding, spoiled queen. If she was to be sold, without choice, she would make life hell for everyone else. So she was spoiled with gifts of whatever she wanted to keep the peace.
When she was eighteen her father had enough of her prima donna behavior. He sent her to the school in order for her to learn a little self reliance. She was furious at another sudden change in her life but realized she was powerless to change it. She settled in and learned the social ropes. Finding solace in the gardens, she spent much of her time there. That’s where she met Rave…
And the rest, as they say, is history.
